This dance piece explores themes of identity, belonging, and cultural heritage. It combines elements of contemporary dance and theatre, known for their vitality and expressiveness. The performers draw on dramatic situations, building a story about the interconnectedness of people, a love for diversity, and the rich culture of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The performance takes us back to places we cannot see, but can feel—layers of time that are persistently forgotten. Every moment and every silence remain imprinted somewhere, waiting to be felt again. Images and memories of people are revived, while at the same time raising the question of where we, as a society, have gone wrong.
“With Love from Bosnia,” presented at the open-air pools of Bentbaša pools, creates a unique atmosphere that further emphasizes the beauty and singularity of the event, establishing a special dialogue between the space and the artistic expression of the performers and choreographer.
The audience will have the opportunity to experience a fusion of traditional and modern elements in an environment that evokes a sense of freedom and a longing for better, happier times.
Premiere night: 04th pf June 2026, Pools of Bentbaša, Sarajevo
